Business Analyst I
Location: Work At Home
The Business Analyst I is responsible for conducting a thorough review of all vendor eligibility files. This is the entry-level in a career progression. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Perform quarterly validation audit.
Monitor changes to confirm impact to vendor eligibility files.
Send daily, weekly and monthly eligibility files to vendors.
Submit and track all vendor contracts/amendments.
Review/approve all vendor rosters on a monthly basis.
Work with enrollment and EDI team regarding file extract.
Possesses understanding of business processes and systems capability.
Participates in developing and/or modifying requirements, business design specifications, user training and documentation.
Researches and documents business issues.
Translates business requirements to technical staff to ensure that requirements are incorporated into system design.
Tests and documents solutions.
Serves as liaison between users of the software and technical staff.
Requires a HS diploma or GED, 5 years of related health care experience that includes work flow design, data analysis, and/or systems automation and testing; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
BA/BS degree preferred.
Auditing and reporting experience preferred.
Membership experience preferred.
Facets experience required.
Experience with SQL and SharePoint preferred.
Proficiency with MS Excel and Word.
Medicaid experience required.
Experience with Medicare preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
